Is there any plan regarding the introduction of some RPC system in Singularity's environment?

Hi Alex. We have done some limited work in this area - for example, there is ongoing research on using channels to communicate between two kernels running on different CPUs in the same computer. We do not currently support channels between systems, and haven't worked out the details of how shared memory would function in this scenario or whether latency would be a problem. We don't presently plan to do further research in this area, but it would be an interesting avenue to pursue.

I'm actually trying to get OpenGLES(maybe DXM) support on Singularity. It's a good way to learn the environment by having a small project :D.

Anyway, because my main "hardware" is a VM(vmware/vpc) and because we don't get accelerated gfx vm drivers drops for Singularity from VM makers :D I decided to have the opengl server calls routed in some way to the host os.

Still, Thank you for the answer,
Just another thing I can work on :D.
