I don't have DetectIpsecPolicy.cmd

Mar 5, 2008 at 9:47 PM
Hi,
I would like to run Singularity in VirtualPC under Microsoft Windows Vista. I've read the Documentation and read in paragrah 5.2 to use DetectIpsecPolicy.cmd in base\build-directory but I don't have this file.
How can I detect my IPSec-Policy abd change this to run Singularity under Vista?
Thanks in advance.
With best regards,

Ralf.

Are you on an IPSec enabled network? Do you really need to network boot? If so, post back to this discussion and we'll work through the problem.

Folks in MSR network boot when working with real-hardware, but with VPC it is much quicker to boot from an ISO image. Start the VirtualPC, press the CD menu button, Capture ISO, use the ISO image from the build process (line beginning "CD-ROM image:"). Restart the VirtualPC.

The DetectIpSecPolicy.cmd script is not included in the RDK and we should either add it or remove the reference to it in the documentation.
